Cannot download printer software to new PC with Vista

You have not mentioned the PC operating system like Win XP, Vista, Win 7.

Lexmark have not yet released a driver for Vista and there does not appeasr to be any intention to do so from what i have read on their bulletins. Dopn;t wait sell it on ebay to an xp user and get a better supported printer

Try going to www.hp.com click on "drivers and software" enter your printer model number and download the software from there.

Hi , try updating your printer drivers for vista(choose vista compatibility update) This is for zozo.

To my third deg - you just follow the instruction except your going to get latest printer drivers:

Create a new folder on your desktop and name it newhpdrivers(substitute your manufacturer in new name). Un-intall printer and printer software completely. Go to manufacturers website and navigate to their drivers/downloads or support menu. Select your model, choose the relevant software and download to the new folder you created on your desktop(watch for the light yellow bar at the top of window viewing pane, click on this and choose – download file - . Power down your computer. Reconnect the printer to the computer and turn printer on. Power on pc. Windows will detect new hardware and ask if you have the manufacturers install cd or a location to check for install files. Direct the wizard to your new software, follow the rest of the setup instructions and your done.

then go to "software & driver download"

then go to Windows vista icon

then you can find windows vista support drivers

yes because the printer is too old and does not work with vista. your only hope is to try www.hp.com and go to support and go to drivers and see if they have the update drivers for your printer and vista. New pc= new printer.

click here to download vista version:

• Download the above software.
• Un-install your previous deriver.
• Turn off your PC.
• Remove all connection of printer from system.
• Install new downloaded driver.
• Don't connect the printer to PC untill setup says to connect or setup finished.

Your best bet would be to visit Lexmark's website to see if your printer is compatible with Vista. You may be able to download updated drivers for your printer, or they may be able to suggest alternate drivers which may allow you to use your printer with Vista.

Choose the model and download into you Memory Stick
You can insert memory stick into your computer and install the Software that you downloaded.

Please make sure your Operating system (Vista, XP etc) before you download.
