Calendar entries displaying in window, but not displaying on summarized calendar on left
I have Outlook 2003. When I go to a given day on the calendar, I see all of my meetings. However, in the 'month' view in the upper left hand corner, none of the days are bolded (meaning there are meetings scheduled on that day).
I believe other users are also unable to see the meetings on my calendar as well.
I'm connected an exchange server in a small corporate environment. Thoughts?

I have Outlook 2010 client on my PC. My ISP mail account is forwarded to Outlook via POP3 mail account. I also have a gmail account to which I forward all mail to from my ISP mail address. My gmail calendar is bi-directionally synchronised to my Outlook calendar using 'Google Calendar Sync' and likewise my gmail contacts are bi-directionally synchronised to my Outlook contacts using 'Go Contact Sync'. then it was a simple matter on my Windows Phone 7 to create a Google mail account to my gmail account. I can create contacts, calendar entries in either Outlook, Gmail or my phone and they are all sync'd with each other. 'Google Calendar Sync' and 'Go Contact Sync'' are free downloads.
1. Create a new calendar item in Outlook/Exchange. 2. Sync 3. Update the calendar time on the handheld device. 4. The device is overwritten by Outlook/Exchange upon next sync as a 'conflict'
So, the new time of my appointment (valid and important) is not only never updated in Outlook (I could almost live with this) but it is changed BACK to the original time
I'm certain you're aware that "inconsistent" isn't a good thing. In cases such as the one you present, the only sensible option is for one to "cut their losses and run." Your client is well advised to completely remove the offending entries and rebuild the calendar manually. Not a fun answer, to be sure. As you noted, the problem will migrate to OL 07, possibly further compounding the problem. Unfortunately, to apply a common fix, one must face problems that have something in common regarding their creation and nature.
The closest I have come has been from a firmware update for the Palm phone. After the update, the phone saw my original contact list and created a second contact list from what was present in the Palm calendar.
If you have changed firmware and this issue started happening, you'll need to delete the duplicates in Outlook or it will continue to try and update/save them. Also, this is most likely why your sync sessions are taking more time...the phone is trying to read the different entries already present in outlook, and it is taking time to default when it cannot open the entries. Multiply that time by 4 or 5 times per entry and you have a very long sync session.
You can transfer your contact list, but not your calender. Here are the steps to take to successfully transfer your contact list from outlook 2000 to the iPhone:
1. In Outlook, export your contact list as a Comma Separated Values (Windows) file 2. In windows accessories, launch Address Book 3. Import into Windows Address Book the file you created in step one 4. Now back in iTunes, sync your iPhone contact list with Windows Address Book
You contacts should come over intact.
Sorry, but there is no solution that I know of to import Calendar events.
OK. Hope this helps you because it fixed my problem. Go into palm desktop. Go to hot sync, click on custom Go to Calendar (Outlook) and double click on that. At this point click on settings. Under conflict resolution choose "outlook wins". Then go out and check syncronize files and set as default. Click done and this should resolve the issue. Reply if this is confusing.
Have you setup an EAS account in VersaMail?
The VersaMail application on your Treo 650 supports Exchange ActiveSync, which allows synchronization of Email and Calendar wirelessly with Exchange Server 2003. If an EAS account exists on the handheld the Calendar conduit will disable itself to avoid duplicates.
Go to VersaMail on your Treo650
Select Menu: Accounts: Account Setup
Check to see if any EAS accounts exist on the device by selecting and account, then Edit...
One the first screen check Mail Service. Do any of them say "Exchange Activ..."
If yes you'll need to delete that account to sync calendar entries.
Are any of the "meetings" flagged as "Show me as busy" on that specific time/date?
