Sounds - memory full error

When I click to record a sound, I get a message saying "memory full". I have deleted all sounds including the very large one that caused it to be full to begin with but yet still get the message. I checked my memory & it shows only 42% full.

My samgung isnt working, when i get a message, it wont let me see the message it just says "memory full, new message rejected" WHATS WRONG?!

Hi breanne_est,It sounds like your memory is completely full! There's an easy fix to this. Go into your messages application and start deleting messages (both sent and received). After you've deleted a bunch of messages it should unlock and allow you to open up new ones!Good luck.Alex

My phone is lg bl40. it shows error saying maximum limit of application is reached. how do i solve it?

Try and remove your memory card , check for virus in your PC.. Scan and quarantine if there is any faulty files, delete iff the card is full.Check for messages, delete all large files messages.
Now try, if not set you phone to default settings.f

Voice Recording Full

Depending on how your razr is set up, you should be able to click on the "settings" button, then click the "tools" option, which will open that sub-directory, then scroll down to where it says "voice records", open that, and then click the menu bar (the one that looks like a flat bar like --- ) and then it should give you the option to delete it.

Keeps saying "Memory full" even though all my messages are deleted

Go to settings, applications, manage applications, click on an app in the list, click on Force Stop, click on Clear Data, you will receive a warning, proceed anyway. Repeat these steps for each app, then reboot the phone. Worked for me.

Voice Recording

You can't set a recorded voice to set as ringtone.
You can't set a song as a message tone. The only tones you can send in a message are from your sounds. Sounds are a special format, just as pic, music, ringtones etc.
You can record your own sounds, but unfortunately they come out fuzzy and don't sound real good.
You want to make ringtones and sounds for your phone follow this below:
You will need
1. Phone with usb cable
2. Computer1.gif
3. Bitpim software1.gif

Here is how you can make your own Ringtones, Sounds etc.
go to (this is perfectly legal)
http://www.bitpim.org/

Click download
Next page--Downloads (the first download) choose your operating system1.gif
(do not download BitPim Test Release 1.0.6 04 Mar 2008)

Once downloaded, open it, hook up your phone
It should recognize it. At the bottom of the Bitpim page you will see a green circle--Ready and a green circle---name of your phone and that it is detected.

Now, click on Sounds
Go to the top of the page and clilck the blue music note with the green plus sign.
Find the music you want to make into a sound
Click on it
Click open
An Convert Audio Box will come up

Follow these directions:
Channels (Mono/Stero) click arrow change to 1
Click convert
You will see DOS boxes come up when they are done under crop you will see "Clip Duration" with numbers in the box next to it. Ajust the pink and red arrows to the part of the song you want as your sound. The pink shows the beginning of the song and the red where the song will stop. Then drag the little arrow to the pink arrow. Click play position. You will hear your song, you can adjust from there what you want played.
Once you have set your sound, click "OK"

You may get a prompt that it may be too large, click ok

Now it will show in your sounds

Go to the Second phone at the top with the arrow pointing to the right click on it----a box will appear check ringtone. Click "OK"
Box will go away, the sound will start transferring to your phone.
You will see at the bottom of the page the green circle--Ready
turn Red and it says busy.

When done your phone will reboot go to Music and Tones, sounds and the song should be in your sounds.

Do the same thing for ringtones.

My phone is so full I have to keep deleting some of them.
These are in your phone not on your SD card, phones only have so much memory1.gif.

Good Luck and Have Fun

Voice record memory full & screen froze

Are you able to get into the software to purge the voice records?

If not, it sounds like the phone needs to be "reflashed" at an authorized service centre. Take it where you bought it. It should not cost you if it is less than one year old (warranty).

Sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
