Question about SanDisk Sansa e250 MP3 Player

Volume control works backward, and will only turn volume down. Also various other problems, songs that used to play but now won't, etc.

Just reset ur player using the reset pin available on the player!!

Using oakley thump pro 512mb, once reset glasses comes on but unable to use any of the controls to change song forward or backward or even to change volume. this is after fully charging them. what could...


I'm having the same problem....also if you try and forward to the next song...it will repeat that same song 3 times. Its almost like the volume butons are stuck or something...they dont seem to depress the same 9you dont feel a click or anything)... weird.

Can not get volume to lower


On my player you have to push the A-B button first then use the button your describing to adjust the volume.

Songs are continueously playing backwards and won't stop.


Basically, just keep plugging it into your USB port and out again. Hope that this works. It should. Turn it on after you've unpluged it and text out to see if your songs are still playing backwards.

Ipod turns on and works - cant hear song playing


Check the volume using the buttons on it and also in your settings/volume limit. If that doesn't work, resync it with iTunes and see if there is a parental control in place preventing music to be played.

Sansa e270 next song play problem


if you are holding it down (all you are doing ff or rewind), but if you tap it will skip...plus you can also go to menu settings playback settings and change the skip / backward from seconds, mins and whole track...

MY SANSA WONT PLAY SONGS, IT SHOWS ARTIST BUT STUCK IN PAUSE


Some songs are in the wrong format, or your DB is corrupt. Either way:
These are the most common methods for recovering Sandisk's Sansa Mp3 Players. I have been almost universally successful in recovering Sansa players using one or a combination of these methods. These methods do not work if you are having synchronization or music format issues - they are for recovering a player that will not power up, freezes, flashes, is not recognized by the computer, and a host of other issues.

Reset the Sansa Player first. On most models, restart is done by holding the power button in for 15 seconds or longer. Check your specific manual to be sure. The manuals are available from the Sansa website if they have been misplaced.
Download the Sansa Recovery Tool from the Sansa website.
Format - Erases Everything: Connect your Sansa player to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "Sansa 1GB" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything.
Firmware Upgrade- Erases Everything: Get the latest firmware upgrade from Sansa - it updates the firmware and erases every song in the player all at once. Note: this method doesn't work if already have the latest firmware. Go to the Sandisk website and click "Firmware Updater" to find out.
If these fail, then:
Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.
If you get the problem where MTP Device keeps popping up continuously, uninstall the “MTP Device” by going to Start à Control Panel àSystem à Hardware à Device Manager (you computer may vary slightly, depending on Windows Version).
You may have to restart your computer after each of these methods to get them to work properly. Disconnect your Sansa player BEFORE shutting down your computer.

Only playing video, no music


It sounds like a problem with your hard drive. I know it sounds strange when everything else is working but in my experience and I've fixed thousands of iPod videos. 95% of the time, if the logic board is actually functioning, if you have a fault it's the hard drive.

I click on a song on my sansa e250 then a different song plays
