If you open the case you should be able to see the fuse pretty easily, they are the old glass tube type that are mounted on the power board. If you need a schematic you can look for the sams photofact website. That is the best one for those.
There should be a short circuit with any section of mother board. The troubleshooting to this board is somewhat skilled one. You should first download the repair manual to this set, which will have schematics to follow. If you wish some details, check the site linked here. Pull up older posts. Hopes it will help you. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
in the fuse box.
on many cars there is no fuse, only a circuit breaker.
the breaker is far better in cold weather (and huge ice drag)

Hi, Your Direct TV system runs on channel 3 or 4 on the Maxent HDTV and the decoder box(PVR) works all the channels. So you might not be able to program your HDTV. Good luck.
That unit does not have a tuner so it does not have an antenna input. You need to connect a cable box, satellite box, VCR with a digital tuner (or an additional DTV box for converted input), or DVR to one of the HDMI, S-Video, or Component inputs to view TV.
open the back and reseat the LVDS cable(looks kinda like a computer data cable)...also check your other circuit board connectors..literally unplug the connectors..and reseat them...Question...is the set working now?...or is it not coming on?
I had the same problem and found that the ground wire outside where the cable companys box is was not even hooked up. It was just hanging there, once I hooked it up it went away. The cable company gave me the run around telling me it wasn't their fault. I now have Direct Tv.
