I have a Lexmark Optra T614 printer. It has parallel and network on it. I have it set up as a network printer. When I have to print several pages (25 to 30). From the operator panel saying "ready". Scroll through the menus to "Network Menu", then scroll to "Standard Network", then to "STD Net Setup", then "TCP/IP", then "Set IP Address". Once you make the desired changes (move through octets using "select" changing numbers using "menu"), make sure to save by pressing the select button until it says "saved".
There is now default password. The default is without password. Did you try a cold reset?? Push and hold down butons 2,3 and 5 while powering on the machine. Release the buttons when innitialisation is on the display.

there is a smart chip on the right side top of the toner cartridge clean these 2 connections with thee green plastic brillow on the back of a sponge. just do this lightly. cleaning this should fix your problem
