if you want to transfer the video to the computer, I use a firewire cable that I had to buy separately, make sure ur computer has a firewire port. The usb cable is only good for downloading pictures.

The A530 is equiped with a socket that allows you to connect to a USB connection on your computer. You will need the lead that came with your camera. Look for any spare USB socket on your computer. It looks like a small plain rectangular shape, mostly with a flat white strip inside it that will match the plug on your camera's lead. Make sure your camera is switched off, then connect your lead. Switch the camera on when it is connected and your computer should atutomatically detect it. It should say "Found new hardware." If you get to this stage, you're on the right track.
Next, launch the program you installed from the software cdrom that came with your camera. This should guide you through the next stage and allow you to send your photos to your computer.
If they are important, be sure to back them up so that if your computer breaks down or is stolen, you still have your photos.

SOURCE: i dont no how to
look for any sort of USB plug on your camera it would usually be a small plug. if you don't have a cable they are cheap to but from a computer shop ect. this also requires your computer to have a USB port/plug.
do you want to put your clips or pictures on your computer?
well you need the USB cable as i told you earlier. or if it has a memory card in it you can buy a memory card reader from a computer shop ect. if you dont want to do this you might need a software program. all you have to so is use www.google.com and type in your cameras model number witch should be on the camera some ware and the brand then software or program after it... somthing like that..
if you cant find it i can find it for you if you give me the information of the camera..
hope it helps if not come back to me

I am assuming that you downgraded to Windows XP. For the WinXP sound driver of a Realtek Audio as used in an Acer Aspire 4315, pls try (ftp://220.127.116.11/pc/audio/WDM_A405.exe). Should you still want the Vista driver, pls download from here.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.
