Try using the cd created on another stereo system to confirm that it works. Also try using different type blank disc when burning.

My sharp cd-ba200 will barley play cds

Put the player On for few hours or overnight. Now remove the panel and get access to the optical head unit, use a clean ear bud to polish the optical head. If not the optical head is weak and must be replaced.

MY REMOTE IS BROKEN NEED NEW REMOTE RC-199 for my D-800 system help pleas
If you know the model of the device (which you did not mention) try here:
or eBay: search for "(model) remotes", check the 'include description' box. Usually cheaper than the vendors.
Try this advice:
"Dead" Remotes Can Be Saved
How to Re-Start Your "Dead" Remote Control
This only takes about a minute and will restart 1 in 3 "Dead" Original Remote Controls. Good Luck!
Step 1- Pull the batteries out of the remote and leave them out until Step 4.
Step 2- Press and release each and every button one at a time on the remote control until every button has been pressed and released at least once!
Step 3- If your remote has slide switches, you must move the switch to each position then repeat the button pushing in Step 2.
(When you're done, be sure to put the slide switch in the correct position to operate the unit the remote came with!)
Step 4- Put the batteries back into the remote, being very careful to install them correctly.
New batteries should be used if you're not sure about the old ones.
Step 5- Try the remote.
Special Note:
If you have a digital camera, camcorder or camera phone you can test the remote to see if it is emitting a signal. Face the remote towards the lens of the digital unit until you can see the front of the remote. Depress any button on the remote. You should see a light (steady, blink or flashing) being emitted from the remote. If you do then the problem might not be the remote but the sensor on the unit.
If it works, Great!
If not, it's time to call 1-800-Remotes or use this website to order a new remote.
Find new or replacement remotes:
or eBay: search for "(model) remotes", check the 'include description' box. Usually cheaper than the vendors.

I just checked and neither site has one at this moment. Keep looking.

According to one site the part number is AX-430764J.

Wont play cds. toc read comes back with no disc. what is wrong

Make sure discs are clean, purchase a lense cleaner to remove any grime or particles from the CD lense. If still no joy your laser is either out of focus, miss-tracked or completely shot and requires replacement. If it's the latter, rplacements can cost from $50 upwards depending upon what is required to fix the problem. You may be wise to replace the system OR purchase a seperate CD player (as used in a seperates system) and plug it into the aux input.

I have a Panasonic Shelf System model SA-AK 640 that displays an error code "F61" when i try to turn the unit on then it shuts off. How do I fix this problem at home as I live in rural Alaska, and the...

The F61 message is equivalent to a "protect" message. This means that a problem was detected in the final amplification stage and that the unit has been shutdown to prevent further damage. In these particular units, there is a large IC or Amp-pac that is the final ampllifier stage. While it is possible that the voltage regulator IC is defective, the majority of the time it is the amp-pac that is faulty. This part is not cheap. Expect a parts cost in the $75-$95 range.

Not reading cd

HI.This will occur when the optical assembly becomes unstable. this ((Whole One Piece)), assembly incorporates the spin/load motor, optics housing /arm, tracking device and tracking rail. This is connected to the loading dock assembly. This 'NO Disc' or CD NOT PLAYABLE, code is the result of a failed or burned out lens. It is possible that you have a dirty lens cap. you can try using a cleaning disk in this case to confirm actual lens failure. if the cleaning doesn't restore normal reading capabilities, this will confirm my diagnosis.

You will need to have the optical assembly replaced in this case. once replaced, your unit will be able to read and track once more.
