Question about Polaroid i733LP Digital Camera

Polaroid i733, purple picture

I bought 3 i733 for my kids at christmas. Worked fine for about a month then this. Two of these show a purple tinted screen when you turn them on. The pictrue even comes out purple when you take one. The third camera is working just fine. If you press slighly on the lense it seems to correct the issue. They have not been dropped so I'm told and I trust my kids. Any suggestions?

Having the same problem with a i733. I think this one was dropped with the power on. I can move the lens around a bit and the LCD flashes back on intemittently.

Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program, such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

My polaroid i733 turns on the beeps 3 times then turns off when the sd card is in. i have tried formatting the card and camera but it still is not working any help

Had the same problem with our i733 Pink Polaroid. Beeps three times and then shuts off. The reason for this is that the lens is stuck in the partially open position. Because our camera was long past warranty and we bought it for $40 second hand I took the brute force approach. I grabbed hold of the lens and wiggled it from side to side while trying to pull it out (forcefully but being as careful as I could not to damage it) and then there was a small "pop" and the lens came out all the way and the camera was good to go again. Hope this helps.

Polaroid i733 card error

The i733 works with SD cards. Your 8GB card is actually an SDHC card. While it fits into the slot, it won't work. You need to go with SD cards, 2GB and smaller.

HELP!!! PLEASE!!

I have had the same problem with my Polaroid camera also. I had it for just a few months and sent it it in while it was still under warranty. They then sent it back to me TWO months later telling me they could do nothing about it. They didn't fix it, send me a new one or anything. I see that several people have posted on the same problem and haven't got any resolutions. This is ridiculous!
