So you want to update your version of Brother's PE-DESIGN software to version 4.0? Is that correct?

Do you know what operating system your HP computer is running? Is it Windows XP?

HOW IS YOUR OLD

First,
Asking about the age of the system devices is simple. Computer systems perform better with the most recent innovation. For example, computer inventions are made as improvements over the prior versions. A computer recently manufactored would have much capability than ealier innovations. The most recently changes to component parts performs better compared to devices of similar dates of innovation performing on older component parts. Computers that are impressionful have capacities over prior versions, examples of storage devices, memory, processing capability. Also, computers of recent innovation have features of improvement in component parts. Computer gets old to also known as out of date considering the several improvements that have been made over a selected computer design.

Hi my name mohit manchanda. actually i wanna instal win xp in my [pen drive but after copying files 100% than sytem show fetal error

All that's needed is a bootable USB Flash drive with at least 256 MB of storage capacity and a Windows Setup CD. Using the program Bart PE Builder (Freeware), you can install Windows XP on the flash drive, along with other software as needed (and as available space permits).

Here is the link of Bart PE Builder
http://69.90.47.6/mybootdisks.com/mybootdisks_com/nu2/pebuilder3110a.exe

Here is the procedure

This will help you create your very first BartPE CD. It assumes that you are using Windows XP.

Make sure that your system has about 500MB of free disk space!

Download the latest PE Builder version (self-installing package) and install it.

Start PE Builder (pebuilder.exe). When you start PE Builder for the first time it will ask if you agree with the license agreement.

Now PE Builder will ask to search for windows installation files. If you don't have your windows XP setup/installation files on your system you must insert the original Microsoft Windows XP installation/setup CD at this point.
The files you have at c:\windows are not installation files. They are your already installed files!
Click "yes" to start searching. PE Builder will now search all fixed- and CD-Rom drives for Windows installation files. This will take some time. When more than one valid location is found, a dialog will appear where you can select which location you want to use.

At the main PE Builder dialog, select the "Burn to CD/DVD" option. When you are using an erasable medium, make sure that the "AutoErase RW" option is enabled. The "burn using" option should be set to "StarBurn". Select your CD writer device from the Device list.

Hit the "build" button. PE Builder will now ask you to create a BartPE directory, answer with "yes".

The license for your Microsoft Windows XP product is shown. Read it and agree to it to continue.

PE Builder will now start building BartPE. This will take a few minutes.
You will see a lot of files getting copied and/or decompressed, the ISO image build and the data recorded to your CD/DVD writer.
If the data verify was correct and there where no errors reported you can boot the CD/DVD!

After that set your PC BIOS to boot from USB,then restart.
That's it.

I BOUGHT A USED E-MACHINES COMP WITH WINDOWS 2000 PRO AND IT IS PASSWORD PROTECTED FROM THE PREVIOUS OWNER. HOW DO I GET BY THE PASSWORD? I TRIED SAFE MODE AND IT STILL WANTS THE PASSWORD!

Two methods, either use a BART PE CD to reset the administrator password as described here http://windowsitpro.com/article/articleid/93304/bartpe.html
or reinstall the Operating System.

This can be a problem depending on what version of Windows 2000 Professional is installed. If it was an OEM version, you should have been given a Operating System CD when you bought the computer as they are tied to the specific machine they came with. The Key will be on a sticker/label on the side or top of the box.

If it was a Volume Licence, then you will need to buy a replacement Operating System.

Update of avg softwears

Older versions of AVG won't update anymore. What you should do is uninstall your old version and download the latest version.

The firefox issue may be solved by uninstalling firefox. You could also try to download a newer version of firefox and install it.

You may set Internet Explorer as your default browser by starting it and choosing 'internet options' from the 'extra' menu. At the 'programs' tab there should be a possibility to set Internet Explorer as standard browser.

hi there
it sounds like a codec problem. you need to check what file type your camera is storing the files onto the disk. right click the disk right click a chapter and select the properties option then make a note of the file type mpeg 2 or mp4 or avi etc. next find out if pe supports that file type (should be in the manual some where) and if it doesn't the codec may be downloadable from adobe support, also make sure the data code function is switched on on your camera as this is how the software sees the chapters (again should be in the camcorder manual) another option is to try pinnacle studio software as its a lot easier to use and i have never had a problem with it. you can pick one up on e bay for about a tenner (version 8 will be good enough)
hope this helps
