Won't sync rhapsody music!!

My e260 will not synchronize files that i have downloaded from rhapsody. I always pay the subscription and it lets me listen to the tracks on rhapsody from my computer. Is there a way i can synchronize these tracks so that i can listen to them on my player?? thanks

Make sure the date/time settings on your player are accurate. Mine got reset to last year and it was thinking that my subscription was expired when it wasn't.

If that doesn't work, reset the secure clock on the device. Open up Rhapsody and connect the device. Hold down shift and control and right click on the device. Click on "reset secure clock"

My sansa is showig up the message synchronize to continue music subscription

When you use a service like Rhapsody or Napster and download "unlimited music" as part of a subscription, you periodically need to sync the player to prove that you are still paying a subscription fee, or the subscribed music will not play. Just sync the player (plug in with the USB cable) to a PC which has a valid subscription to the service that you use. Make sure you log into the service before you sync so that the new keys are picked up.

If you have a subscription to a service that has gone out of business (Like Yahoo Music Unlimited), you may just need to delete the subscription music from the player.

NOt playing songs says(synchronize to continue your music subscri

If you got your songs from a music service, especially Rhapsody, the songs have a fixed-term DRM license on them. After a certain period of time - sometimes as little as 3 days - you have to resynchronize the songs to the music service from where you got the songs. If you let your music service subscription lapse, then the songs will not be usable until you renew your subscription. This process of resynchronizing the songs to the music service does not always go smoothly. Sometimes synchronizing through Rhapsody or another service does not resolve your issue - in this case, you will have to go through the long, tedious process of deleting the affected songs off of your player and reloading them - either through the music service or through Windows Media Player.

If you never want to deal with this problem again, the solution is to only download songs that are in mp3 format. Mp3 files do not expire once your music service subscription has expired, and they do not give you strange messages to resynchronize the files.

Sansa e260

You need to synch them to Rhapsody or whatever music service you pulled the songs from. also, make sure your music service subscription supports transfer to portable devices instead of simple transfer to a computer.

Synchronize to continue your music subscription

If you let your Rhapsody subscription expire, you will constantly get this message. If it is up to date, open up Rhapsody, and resynschronize all music files to the mp3 player. The Rhapsody help files will show you how to do this.

Trying to synch my SanDisk MP3 player to Rhapsody

This player is a little goofy. The normal method to synchronize is through Windows Media Player. But if you go for the Rhapsody subscription, you have to also sync the device through Rhapsody.

Synchronize to continue your music subscribtion???????

You have to synchronize your Sansa to a computer that has a current subscription to Rhapsody, and you have to sync the Sansa to that same computer at least once every 30 days, or the Rhapsody songs will stop working. Use a different music service that is free, or convert all of the songs to Mp3 format to get around the problem. If you get a subscription to another music svc, then you must maintain a current subscription with whatever new svc you choose as well.
