If this happens after the format has successfully completed? Then you should get a prompt to "Retry, Skip, or Cancel" if while copying files, in which case you can try the "Disk Swap" technique. Which is basically ejecting the disk drawer and inserting it again. In the situation I described above the technique I just mentioned works about 9 out of 10 times that I have encountered this situation. At the worst, the copying of files won't resume until you click "Retry", but usually just resumes on it's own. Though you didn't mention which Operating System you are trying to install, I assume it's Windows as that is the one I have had this issue with. You may also try a different Operating System installation CD/DVD, as the disk your using might have damaged area.
I noticed you mention that it stops at Graphics installation, is there more than one Graphics Card installed in this PC? If so you may want to remove the added card until you get through installing your O.S. if nothing else works.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Cry. Seriously, remove the drive and copy off of it any and all files that you want and need. Then format the unit and reinstall the operating system and programs from the backup disks that you have. No backup?
Now you are really ******* - see if you can get set from notebook manufacturer. If not check with your computer literate friends to see if any of them have OS installation disks.
Audio Video Interleaved is the full form of AVI that is a computer
graphics animation format. It is used in Microsoft Video for Windows and
it interleaves synchronized audio and digitized video frames into one
single file. You can play the clips generated in AVI format in a Windows
PC that is independent of the screen resolution and palette.<br />
The Moving Pictures Experts Group defined MPEG-4. This format helps
deliver high quality audio and video streams for cell phones and
broadband connections. The MP4 format also supports 3D objects, texts,
and different media files. MP4 (short form for MPEG-4) is a container
format that helps one combine different streams of multimedia into one
file that is streamable and supports all kinds of multimedia data. Many
people are looking for some ways that will help them in converting AVI
to MP4. If you are on this page, it is obvious that you too, want to

This is an error message your operating system boot manager file is corrupted or missing. A clean re-install may solve the issue. Sometimes you need to format the entire HDD to install the OS. Remove the HDD from the drive bay and connect it to another pc using an external 2.5" case via usb cable and select that HDD from computer and rightclick then format. Select ntfs if needed. Untick the quick format and click OK. it takes a while to finish. After format complete remove the HDD and refit it in your laptop and re-install OS as usual. Hope this helps.
First be sure it finish the installation and not just loads the files and after that is unable to finish it ...for to know it does finished it ..it must been restarting at least 2 times and on the last one it says preparing for first usage ...or something like that ..if it does this ..you know for sure it did loaded all files and it is just unable to start proper for some reason .. Another reason can be the way you load the windows...try to use a boot-able disk with the operation system ..and not the old recovery ..cause if you changed the board the recovery is not matching anymore.. and 3rd issue can be the ram memory ..You must have at least 1 G of ram memory installed on the system for to run windows 7 with success ...any less of it will not complete the installation .. Also check the hard disk to be proper functional ..and to be accepted on the bus you are trying to run it ...I mean ..go to BIOS settings ..and take a look on what bus is set to run ...Usualy by default it will run on sata -ahci ..and if you do not load the driver for this function after you get the first screen ..and choose the partition ..it will not be able to run it proper..I suggest to get to bios setting ..and select the hard disk 0 ..and under its setting change the ahci mode (disable ) and leave it to run on sata as ide ..or ide compatible ..and save changes with F10 and restart and load the windows again .. If the board is functional and have no issues at all ..this is the only thing it can be happening ...If it does that check ..you should also try to format the hard disk completely ..or at least the C drive when you do the installation ..If it has errors it also does this check ..So when you get to teh first screen ..and the partitions are displayed..choose advanced disk tools ..and delete all partition s...one by one ...or at least format the C drive ..and other you will format after windows is finished .If you delete all partitions ..and try to create them again ..pay attention on the size of them ..and also ..do not give the install command until you know for sure you formatted C drive and selected it as location ..
either try to repair the installation files of the operating system by setting the boot sequence on DVD drive (on BIOS ,SAVE IT) insert the same OS disc then go a simple repair. or: try to perform a format( which will erase all the content of your hard disc (which you dont want to do)
Hi, The problem may be with, 1. Graphics driver installed in your laptop 2. The Video file which you are trying to play may got corrupted. 3. The player you are using to play the vedio may not have proper codec to play the file solutions: 1. Reinstall the graphics driver for your laptop 2. Try playing some other vedio files 3. Install VLC player and try playing using this player as it supports most of the vedio formats and even plays corrupted vedio files. I hope this is helpful to you.
Looks like your recovery cd is corrupted. You must obtain a copy of Ms Windows cd and install it using the license from the back of your laptop. If that doesn't work either its a hardware related (hdd) problem.
first u restart ur computer and change the boot priority in the BIOS setup . Then insert the bootable cd and restart computer.
When some message comes in the screen, regarding bootable cd, press any key for installation,
It will take some time to copy installation files, then configure computer hard disk.
Then u have to agree the continuation of installation by pressing F8. It will ask u either to repair or install Windows press appropriate keys for that. It will show the disk partitions and lets u with options of creating ,deleting paritions . if u want a partition, then select any large partition and press C and type the amount of memory(in MegaBytes) u want for the partition After finishing creating partitions, select any partition and press enter for Windows installation in that partition. and select "format and install" option . It will format that partition and restarts . there is nothing to do more . After restarting , it takes about 40min to install(times inversly proportional to the processor configuration), it asks for the serial /product key fo ur windows bootable cd, and some general settings about time, time zone, username, passwords etc. After that , Windows would get completely installed. Then insert ur motherboard CD for installing driver for (audio, graphics,LAN etc)
Then ur system is ready with Windows. Ask me if u have any difficulty while installing...
