Question about Computers & Internet
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L rev. 2.0
CPU: Intel Core2 Quad Q6600 (2.4GHz 8MB Cache 1066 MHz FSB)
Memory: G.Skill F2-8500CL5D-4GBPK (2x)
I’m trying to install two sets of the above memory for a totalof 8GB of ram in the above motherboard. When I install only one set (4gb)everything works fine.
I’ve followed the procedure outlined here (http://www.gskill.us/166.pdf page 9),but when I’m installing all four sticks for a total of 8GB, the motherboardwon’t even post. This is very frustrating.
Canyou offer any help or suggestions?
If they are not a matched pair it will not work. If you have two sets of matched pairs. Each pair will have to go into the right pairing slot. Example one set you go in slots 0 and 2 and the other in slots 1 and 3. If you have stickers on the memory sticks look for a group of numbers and letters one group will match it's mate.
