Question about Acer Aspire 5315 Notebook
I have recently bought the above Acer notebook and a Phillips wireless router. I bought the Phillips because it is 811b/g. I can connect the router to my computer and laptop but I am having great difficulty trying to secure the connection. Are there other routers that will work with Aspire that might be simpler to install
I think yo should do this first before replacing:
To reset the router to factory defaults, connect the Ethernet cable to the router and check and set the settings.
This should allow you to get into the routers menu and see status and information to help you.
You also have to be sure whether or not you have 'allow windows to manage my wireless connection' checked or not
(In you Network setting)
Let me know what happens after that & I'll be glad to help
