Question about CD & DVD Burners
I have just bought a samsung dvd/rd rw burner model SH-S202H or TS-H652H as part of a dell desktop.
It works for reading and scanning CDs. But when I try to burn a cd or DVD.
I then get a power calibration error and it refuses to write to the CD even though there is space available and the CD is a RW cd and the cd is good.
If I use another CD/RW burner on a different PC it works fine.
I thought of trying to downkload the most up to date firmware and drivers but I am unable to locate the model number.
In the past some burns did not like some makes of cdr's. Ask a friend for a blank cd from a differant manufactor. And be sure that your burn software is set to use the right drive.
