Remove your printer from the PC and uninstall the printer software. Now reinstall the printer software and connect the Printer to be detected and installed. Check printer properties to see the ink levels.
Use head cleaning before a test is taken . It is possible that the head is not reacting to the need of the command , can be an issue with ink drying , can also be poor ink cartridge contacts

I WANT TO PRINT LABELS ON A HP PHOTOSHOP D5360

You may want to check the ensuite software that came with the printer, and see if it offers label printing. More likely, you can access label printing templates in Microsoft Office or Works, perhaps even Openoffice.org's freeware.

HP Photosmart C3180 Printer keeps saying check printer cartaridge I have new ink cartiridges

If you have just replaced them make sure you have pealed off the protective film from the contacts on the cartridges, also make sure you run the wizard for replacing them so that it realigns the printer heads and then it might recognize that they are new.

HP D5360

Have you tried running the head cleaning in the maintenance section of your print driver? If the lines are clogged it will not print anything, also if ctg has just been changed make sure all packing has been removed. lots of times there is clear tape covering the bottom of ctg so it doesn't dry out when in package. Running the cleaning tool a few times forces in thru the lines and the print head. Usually under the properties of driver, (right click driver and select properties) then find maintanence tab.

Hope that helps
