Unwanted copies of files

When I send some picture files or some PDF files to the trash bin, they seem to go to the trash bin AND are made into copies that clog my list of documents.

The "solution" I received was "Probably a virus." My virus software (McAfee) tells me that I have no virus. The problem remains.

I have the same problem.

hi does this happen even after you empty your recycle bin ???
