Question about SanDisk Sansa m240 MP3 Player

Won't initialize When I turn the device on it says initializung very quickly then defaults to the Sansa logo. It will not initialize and allow me to see any menu. Also, my pc no longer recognizes the device. I have used only this pc to download and delete music from the device in the past. What to do?

Try holding the power button down for at least 10 to 15 seconds. That should turn it off. Turn it back on. If this doesn't work, try taking the battery out for a few seconds. If that doesnt work i will recommend that you update the firmware on your device..

Sandisk Sansa View 16GB Won't Start


if it is detected in your system,use sansa updater to upgrade the firmware.You will find it here
If not, first download the firmware from here 1.Turn on the View
2.Put the device in Hold (move Hold button until orange is showing)
3.Press and hold the Left Button
4.Plug the 30 pin connector into the device (be sure the USB is plugged into the computer)
5.Wait for View drive(s) to mount
6.Extract the downloaded zip file and transfer all the contents to the mounted drive.
7.Disconnect the Sansa View and let it restart. 8.Upon completion of the firmware upgrade, the device will restart. If the restart does not initiate or complete, press & hold the Power switch for 8 seconds to reset the device and then release and press again to restart.

keep the hold switch to right side and connect to pc...then format the player or try updating the firmware..tht must do...

You can hold the powe button for like 15 to 20 seconds if that doesnt solve it I would recommend you to go to the sandisk site to update the firmware on your device or you can contact sandisk to they can help you with updating the firmware on your device..Please follow the link below to get the firmware

Sandisk sansa e250 sandisk and rhapsody logo flashes on and off
