Question about Samsung SGH-t629 Cellular Phone
Well my phone got wet because my shower was leaking but it didnt get soaked. So it didnt work for around two hours and then it was fine for one and half days. I can turn on the phone but i need to insert the pin and the key pad wont work. What do I do?
You will need to completely pull the phone apart and soak it in a solution that is no less that 99.00% Isopropanol. If you are having troubles finding a sleaner like this just try googling the company Techspray. They make a solution that works pretty well. Once you have it soaked pull it out and take a toothbrush to it to remove any oxidation that may still remain. Before you put the phone back together use a blowdryer on it to make sure all the solution has dried. If this doesn't work you may just have top purchase a new phone or if you have insurance make a claim with them.
