E68: Voltage Error... This error means that the Xbox
360 has insufficent power to function properly. This can be caused by an
error in the hard drive or the fans that make them **** up too much
power, it can also be caused if you have unnecessary accessories
attached to the console like an external fan unit. Attempt to remove
unnecessary accessories first, and then necessary components such as the
hard drive and USB devices. If that doesn't solve it, then you need to call Microsoft. They will repair it for you if it is still under warranty.
The three red lights mean that your XBOX360 is experiencing hardware failure. This is caused by overheating of your XBOX. Contact Microsoft and have them fix the problem. They have given free extended warranty for three red light problems. If you have bought your xbox360 within 3 years, you're in luck.. They will fix your console for free...
If the light on the power brick stays orange after turning the console on it means the brick is not properly functioning. You can attempt to clean the power brick with a can of air. Also make sure it has ventilation and is not sitting on carpet. This can cause the power brick itself to overheat and cause issues with it and the console itself. Also make sure your 360 is not plugger into a surge suppressor as this can cause issue due to double protection.
If possible, test the power brick on a different console, and test the console on a different power brick. This will narrow down your problem area.
ya appliyng thermal past does little if
nothing for the problem your discribing.
did you heat up the G.P.U. and keep
the C.P.U.cool wth the fan till you got
two reds? if that the case there may
be more diconects under the G.P.U
It is fixable but you need specail equipent
that will compress both sides of
the chip as you heat it to around
320c that will fix problem boards like
yours 90% of the time
I was having the same problem, and what seemed to fix mine was my hard drive. I keep my 360 on it's side and it [hard drive] was falling out a little. I pushed it back in and that seemed to do the trick. Also, when I fix my red rings, I just turn the console off, unhook EVERYTHING and leave it out for a minute. Then I hook everything back in (power cord, hdmi cable, ethernet cable, and hard drive) and it usually works out ok. I'm not saying that fixes everything, but, it has for me in the past.
well it seems that your xbox is well and truely broken. contact microsoft and tell them whats happened and if you have done nothing wrong to cause your 360 to break then they will repair/ replace your xbox for free
if you bought a warranty at the store you bought it from take it there and replace it. If you havent call 1-800-4myxbox its Microsoft's hotline. They will try to help you with your problem and if it doesnt work they send you a new console.
i assume you mean wirelss controllers, if so, on the front of the console there is a round connect button marked '>>',( to the right of the memory port 2) press and release this and there is a little pairing connect button on the controller at the front press this, then the lights should then circulate and stop in either the upper left or upper right segments.
