Question about Dishwashers

1 Answer

Whenever I shut the pc down and reboot it (with huey running), the monitor display automatically reverts to its largest size, requiring that I go into "settings" to reduce the display to a useable 600-800...or smaller. Why does this happen and what can be done to correct it? Thanks Fedexlax@Yahoo.com

How do I decrease the width the size of my computer monitor?

Hi there,

Try 'right clicking' on the desktop area and select screen resolution, from here you are able to change the size of your display to match the screen (don't worry if you select one that is incorrect and can't click on it, it will automatically revert to the setting before).

Good luck.

Input signal out of range

Hello

Boot the computer into SAFE MODE. Go to CONTROL PANEL - DISPLAY PROPERTIES. Change the screen resolution to a common size - like 800x600 or 1024*768 and save the settings. Reboot the computer.

Everything on the screen will be very large but you should be able to see the desktop and make additional changes. Go to CONTROL PANEL and DISPLAY PROPERTIES again, and change the screen resolution and click APPLY. This will change the resolution to the new settings and will give you the opportunity to revert back to the old setting if it does not work.

Once you hit APPLY - the screen will change. If you can see the screen, you will see the option to ACCEPT the changes or to REVERT back to the prior setting. If you do not choose anything, the system will revert to the prior setting automatically - typically in about 15 seconds.

Make changes to the screen until it appears as you want it, click ACCPET when you find the one you like.

I have now have a "video mode not supported" message on my L705 Hyndai monitor screen which came up right after I tried to change the resolution on my windows xp display. I can't get the monitor to show...

First connect you're monitor on to another system if possible. This will only make sure you're monitor is still working ok.
You're system needs to be shut down. (Keep you're monitor connected to you're system).
Than start it up and press the F5 key on you're keyboard every 2 seconds. This will bring up a screen that looks just like the one below;

9492963.jpg

Choose Safe mode from the list. Once you are in windows safe mode open windows control panel than open the display icon. Change the settings to where they were before you made changes. Chances are you need to lower the refresh rate and the resolution. Than save and exit the display properties. Close control panel. Cross you're finger and re-start you're system. If this doesn't work you'll have no choice but to hook up a much better monitor to you're system so you can change the display settings.

Cheers'
Mike

Unable to change color depth...

Ok I think i found your problem. You don't need to install any drivers.

Switch your display to 256 colors To switch your display to 256 colors
Some games and other software programs require that your monitor be set to 256 colors, or they run better in 256 colors. Many of those programs will switch your monitor to 256 colors automatically when you start the program. For those that don't, follow the steps below if you want to switch the display temporarily while the game or program is running.
  1. On your desktop or on the Start menu, right-click the game or other program that you want to run in 256 colors, and then click Properties.
  2. Click the Compatibility tab.
  3. Select the Run in 256 colors check box.
  • The screen will revert to your default color quality when you close the program.
  • Try switching to 256 colors if your software program shows the wrong color or the graphics redraw slowly.
  • If your software program appears in a small window in the center of your screen, you can increase its size by changing your screen resolution temporarily. Follow the procedure above, but in step 3 select the Run in 640x480 screen resolution check box. Your screen resolution will revert to its previous resolution when you close the program.
  • The Compatibility tab is available only for programs or games located on your computer's hard disk. It is not available if the program is stored on a floppy disk, compact disk, or a network.
Please rate this if it fix your issue

Pc display

This maybe due to lack of Video Card/Monitor drivers or the resolution is set to a small size. You will have to find out which video card you have, and if you have an LCD sometimes they come with drivers (Samsung LCDs have drivers). To find out what video card you have, you can usually go off the model name and number of your computer and get the drivers from your manufacturer's website. If it is a home built computer, you will have to look at the card/motherboard model and serial numbers to figure out the video card they use. Normally XP has a default video driver and it should not do a miniature resolution, but it happens sometimes.

Resolution

You could check your DPI setting in the display, being a large monitor your DPI setting shoul be up around the 75 - 85 Hertz.
To access this
Control Panel --> Display --> Settings --> Advanced --> Monitor and then click the drop down box and see what the DPI is set to and keep trying the different options until it is clear.
Hope this helps.
