My Cornea CT1702T flatscreen monitor does not turn on; and, I noticed there is no light on the power adapter. Is there a fuse in the power adapter? Do I need to buy a new power adapter; or, can it be repaired? Thanks Alot

It's a repairable. and there is no power adapter in monotor u just chek out monitor with bcabinet power cable if yr monitor light show on then just change yr power code it's cost just Rs. 40 to 50.... first do this way otherwise take yr monitor to repair or call yr system wander to chek powwer cable.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

When I turn on my Cornea MP503 monitor on it has a message in a blue box saying Power Saving Mode and then goes blank and light flashes orange-green over and over.

Check the VGA/ DVI cable connection from your Monitor to PC, this also could be caused by VGA card on you PC that doesn't work properly, unfirmed connected to its slot etc, check also for unfirmed connected memory card/ RAM.

Apparently the monitor's power consumption is near or slightly exceeds the specified value.
My suggestion would be to purchase an adapter with higher rated output current - if for example your original adapter was rated 12V 4.5A, go for a 12V 6A rated adapter. A 30% safety overhead will hopefully contribute to higher reliability.

Cornea Monitor Troubleshooting CT1700

it could be something as simple as your power settings in control panel> power options, then the first window called power schemes pops up and all monitor, harddisk and system standby should be set at never. Also check on you monitor menu for any power saving options and turn them off. If the monitors still turn off then there has to be a deeper fault with the monitors and not with the power options.

If possible, try a new video cable. If it does not correct itself with a new cable, the problem is not serviceable. Flat screens do one of three things: inverter will go out (no light), line input board signal failure and power supply low volts on 12v B+.

Your computer sound "out" jack has to be connected to the sound "in" jack at the back of the monitor(next to the vga input). To do this you need about a 3 foot stereo jumper cable with male connectors on both ends.
