I boot up into windows xp home edition and i boot up successfully and then all the text in the display are in coding.. no english or unicode. I dont know what to do especially since its not in english, so how do i fix it. also the display drivers must be corrupt.. doesnt show display properly. so.. yah please help me

See if you can go into safe mode by hitting the F8 key right after the dell splash screen and right before the XP splash screen comes up. If you can get into safe mode try to uninstall the rangeplus adapter and try reinstalling again after rebooting the system normally.

indicates the video card has failed and need to be replaced.
Hopefully your other OS's are on a different drive letter (d: or e: for example). As long as they are then there is no conflict with XP.
You could effectively remove access to them by editing c:\BOOT.INI . Note that you will have to right click boot.ini, select "properties" and remove the "read only" and "hidden" properties for the file before editing it. I would recommend making a copy of the boot.ini first for a backup.
Then just open it with notepad. There will be one line for each OS in there. just delete the extra lines. Then you can just erase or format the partitions for the other OS's.
