You can clear the password with a program like active@ password changer. It is a bootable cd that will allow you to clear a windows user password. You can purchase it from their website at www.password-changer.com If you forgot a BIOS password, then you will have to sent it to Acer to have it cleared. They charge $100 for this service in Canada.

try removing ur cmos battery it will reset all the settings u changed in the bios by removing the battery and than swictch the notebook on that turn it off again and insert the battery boot it and click f1 to continue that will work
Was it in the BIOS as supervisor or in the windows section. If BIOS change password by entering blanks(spacebar) else create a new user, login, and modify the old password or delete that users account.........sodeep
