Question about Samsung YP-U3 MP3 Player
Hi, I was listening my musics when the player turned off by himself and i can't turned it on again. I thought that was charged down, but when I putted it in USB nothing happens: none lights on, and the USB isn't crashed. It doesn't chage up, doesn't turn on and the PC doesn't see any device in USB.
DONT TROW IT AWAY!!!!!!!!! push hold buton and the play/rec butons, this will reset your system, and than! tcharã! ok again!

I haved same problem and look what i do it...i open the case of mp3player i took the back with battery and i charge it a little to be able to start when i press on button, then i just close the case and plug it in usb port and voala, it's working and charging again...hope it will help others with this kind of problem
Before to do this it have next symptomes:
When i try to on it, it show me on screen low battery and after a while trying and trying this only blue lights get on and that's all
When i plug it in usb port it show me connecting... then it shutdown and again connecting...doing this all the time
Why he do it?because the battery was too low to start mp3 or to connect it to usb port
One advice...if you don't wanna buy new mp3player try to don't listen music until battery it's low or to don't force it when it's low(it's battery low? just plug it to usb to charge it and that's all...if you force it to start it you don't do nothing good and you woun't listen too long time music, you risk to over low the battery!)

I suggest you take the MP3 player and throw it away into
the dustbin, it works and will make you happy if you can buy another one; only $70... Quite good.

SOURCE: My MP3 YP-U3 don´t power up
the battery might be dead. or u might have to take it apart and charge the battery by hand. ive done this before and it workd. i used a usb cord (5 Volts Max) wat ever u do do not charge the battery with anything over 5 volts. the battery inside the mp3 player is 3.7 volts, so be careful. It unplugs from the chip inside and the battery is easy to get out DO AT UR OWN RISK - PARTS ARE SMALL AND CAN BRAKE WHEN HANDLE CARELESSLY all u gotta do is find the seems on the sides and pull the player apart until it cracks open. then pull the connection tabs up for the usb and buttons from the chip, then by the hold button the chip will be guled to a ground, pull it apart and filp over the chip and u will see a lil clear plug with black (-) and red (+) wires on it, un plug it and set everything else aside, all u need is the battery. Now u need to find a old usb cord laying around and cut the end off that doesnt conect to the computer, splice the cord so that the wires are showing, cut them off EXCEPT FOR THE BLACK AND RED, now plug in the cord to a computer, or game console (ex. Xbox 360, Wii, PS2) then forcefuly slide the black wire onto the black (-) prong on the battery plug, same thing with the red one (+)
then let it set for 15 mins. now u have to conect everything back the way it was and snap the player back together and see if it will come on, if not you might have to take it back and get a new one if you have ur receat. i hope this works remember be very careful with the inside componets. Good Luck!

**Drag and Drop**
Connect your MP3 player to the computer. Some MP3 players connect directly to a USB port, while others connect to a USB port by way of a specific USB connector that comes with the MP3 player. Open the folder on the computer that contains the music files you want to transfer. This is usually the "My Music" folder, available from the "Start" menu, but it can be any folder where you save your music files. Scroll down to the song you want to transfer to the MP3 player. Right-click on the title. When the options are displayed, click on "Send To." Scroll down the "Send To" options and select your MP3 player. This can be listed as your MP3 player's name or as "Removable Drive." Click on this selection. Continue this process until you have transferred all songs that you want to your MP3 player.
--**Windows Media Player**--
If you have a large playlist to transfer, you may prefer to do it from your media player, such as Windows Media Player. Once your MP3 player is connected to the computer, open Windows Media Player. Click on the "Sync Music" tab. Drag songs that you want from your Windows Media Library over to the "Sync Music" column to create a playlist. Click the "Begin Sync" tab at the bottom once you have all of the songs on your playlist. This action will sync all of the songs to your MP3 player with one click. Disconnect your device once songs have been transferred by clicking on the "Safely Remove Hardware" icon in the bottom-right side of the desktop tray.
