If the power lever (the tab that moves the blade back and forth) is not moving with the blade off, chances are that you have a stripped bakelite gear. Take the two screws out of the cover plate and remove it. Remove the lever. Remove the link (the metal part that the lever connects with). Remove the bakelite gear (the part that the link fits down over). You should then be able to see if the teeth are chewed or worn off to the point that the armature gear will not turn the bakelite gear. If that is the case, replace the gear. AmazonOster A5 pet clipper-not sure - 2.gif carries both single speed and 2 speed gears under Oster A5 clipper parts.
Good luck.

Try checking your carbon brushes to see if they need replaced. These are accessed through the two slotted caps on each side of the body. If they are worn down replacements can be inexpensively purchased. Good contact is required for the motor to rotate.

How to blow out the Lighter App for iPod Touch

There was a time when it was acceptable for Zippo lighters to take to shows and they wave back and forth while grooving to the music. Statutes fire in many communities to avoid using a lighter inside, but you can get almost the same vibe with the Virtual Zippo Lighter app for your iPhone or iPod touch. Just like the real thing, you can turn the film and it is light. There are two ways you can put out the flame.

1. Put your finger on the cover of the Zippo lighter and drag your finger to allow you to close the lid over the flame. The flame is extinguished. If you want to touch the flame more powerful, go to step 2.

2. Take the iPod touch securely in your hand, then you have a strong grip on the device.

3. Shake briefly iPod touch in a shocking move, and make sure to move from side to side to cover the Zippo to return to the closed position, going down in flames.
Nokia E61 - other side cannot hear me when receiving/making calls

Your mouth piece is faulty and might need replacement. but before that, you could try opening it up and cleaning mouth piece contact points on motherboard and make sure its tightened enough after.

The roller ball doesnt work

The trackball doesn't work at all? Did it suddenly stop working or has it gone from good to bad over time? Going from working well to not going up or down or back and forth to not working at all could be fixed by following the instructions below. Ceasing to work suddenly could mean a defective device. You'll want to call your system provider for assistance. Hopefully the unit is still under warranty.

Most trackball movement problems can be rectified by cleaning the trackball. Try the following steps to see if it helps tp resolve the issue you are having;

1) Turn the unit off, open the back cover and pull the battery out,
2) Take a paper towel, dampen it with water...nothing else, making sure that the towel is only damp and not soaking wet,
3) Rub the damp paper towel on the trackball, over and over, making sure to rub up, down, side-to-side and every which way. This should clean the trackball and remove whatever is causing it to not move smoothly.
4) Wait a minute or two and replace the battery and cover. Once the unit has rebooted, try moving the trackball again. It should be better.

Cheers!

Blackberry Pearl wont turn on....

Try taking the battery out for a minute then putting it back in and see if it will turn on. Otherwise the display may be broken, did it get dropped?

No sound

I had this problem as well. I would get sound from headphones but unplugging them I had no sound from the builtin speaker.

When you plug in your headphones it moves a thin piece of metal in the jack which interrupts a connection (this is a good thing) so it can know when to disable the internal speaker. When you unplug your headphones the piece of metal moves back and it enables the internal speaker again.

I was able to fix this by taking apart my x51v and bending the piece of metal a little while the headphones are plugged in so that it will contact better when the headphones are unplugged,

To take your axim apart there are 4 screws on the back underneath the rubber grips that you need to take out. Then you can just slide a finger nail up and down each side to remove the front and back of the casing. The back you will need to swing out from the bottom since it hooks over the headphone jack. I unplugged the small wire that connects the front half of the case to the guts using a tiny flat screwdriver.

Inside on the back, there is a black plastic plate that is held on by 4 more screws. Take that off.

Now you can see the headphone jack. I plugged in my headphones and used a small flat screwdriver to push against the headphone jack on the bottom piece of metal on the right side with the axim face down. You can observe the piece I mean by looking at the side of the headphone jack when you plug and unplug headphones. It moves perhaps 1/32 of an inch.

Your goal is to bend the piece of metal closer to where it is when no headphones are plugged in. The only way to bend it properly is to do it when the headphones are in.

Sorry if this isn't clear enough. I'm not sure if this is a permanent fix or not but it's worked for me.
