I have a Cordless desktop ( MX 200 Laser).

Yes I found a solution to my problem. It wasn't with the key board.
I went to the Control Panel and selected Hardware and Sound,
selected Change System Sounds; Selected Play Back and then
selected Speakers. ( I must have accidently shut them off )

Turn the Keyboard over and press the small RESET/CONNECT button on the back of the board to connect the keyboard to the receiver. Should work okay then.
