Question about Philips GOGEAR SA6045 MP3 Player
I got my mp3 player at christmas so it really isn't all that old. It will charge, it lets me delete songs. Yet the second I try to add any song it says it's either copying(if i try to do it manually) and never finishes. Or syncing but never finishes either If i stop the sync it says your mp3 player is either not working, or going to slow. Any help?
You will need to reformat the GoGear in Windows Media Player, but do a firmware upgrade first - open the Philips Device Manager and click on the Update tab. Then click the update button. After the firmware upgrade is done, open windows Media Player.
REFORMAT FOR WINDOWS MEDIA PLAYER - Erases Everything: Connect your GoGear to the computer and open Windows Media Player. Click on the Sync tab. Pull down the drop down menu underneath the Sync tab by moving your cursor over the Sync tab and left clicking on the little black arrow underneath the Sync tab. Highlight "Philips Go Gear SAXXX" (wording may vary slightly), and then select "Format." - this should erase everything, and make your player properly read in Windows Media Player.
