My mac won't recognize my camera like it always does
Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.
The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.
Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use iPhoto or any other photo cataloging program.

This suggests one of 3 things. 1. Defective card, care fully clean the contacts or replace the card. 2 Dirty or defective card chamber contacts wrap apiece of clean paper around a card and carefully insert and remove several time into the chamber- thus attempting to 'polish' the contacts. take extreme care this is a very delicate area. 3. Firmware failure - there is no solution, replace the camera -unless it is under warranty Contact the Fuji technical support team at any rate.

I think you have a wrong setting, go into the menu and go through it and it says USB connect or something to do with PAL/NTSB i don't have one in my hand.

Great explaination.
I tried this reset, but the error came back. Read in other posts that it is a "flash capacitor" problem.

Hi!
It's a flash error. Could be flash fuse or flash board. If you have a multimeter and you're ready to open it, contact me at [email protected] or contact your local Sony service center.
I work in a Sony service center.
