Bissell quicksteamer plus-model 1950c j01339 bearings burnt out at the water pump at the base of the shaft of the armature. How do you dissasembile to replace the bearings of the centrifugal propeller between the two propellers ?

    I have the same problem.

Take off the end cover for the pump, four screws. Take the motor out of it's housing. Remove the plastic cover that covers the brushes. Next remove the brushes. Now look under the brushes and you will find two screws. Remove the screws and the rotor may be removed. Now you have easy access to the bearing.

I need a new bearing. Where do you find them?

I have a Bissell Quicksteamer plus model # 1950 and when I plug it in it begins to heat the water then trips the circuit. Can this issue be corrected?

Have you cleaned the tanks recently? If not do it.
Remove water from the solution tank and collection tank.
Keep the tanks open and allow to dry in sunlight.
If you can, remove the solution tank and see whether there are any leakage signs where the tube connects to the solution tank. If there are, use an adhesive that can withstand heat and stops the leak.
You can also contact Bissell consumer service on 1-800-237-7691.

I have a bissell quickwash model 1950 j 02175. it

the pump belt is off or broken, sometimes when you put too much soap or cleaner in device the belt will slide off the end of the roller, use pinesol to clean this works and doesn't do that, not too much cleaner.

Where can i order a quicksteamer plus 1950 clean water tank?

I had a look at the Australian variant of this model and located parts number 407-0931 Clean Water Tank.

My best suggestion is that take this part number and contact your local Bissell Service Center, go to the Bissell International website to locate information for your country.

Diagnosing the problem with my bissell quicksteamer plus upright

Was the exposed copper wiring on the electrical cord? If is then replace the cord. The main problem with this model is that Bissell obsoleted it as well as parts for it. But if all you need is a cord, you should be able to get one from a repair shop.
