None of the igniters were working and I replaced the igniter Module, 2 weeks ago they all work now, but the front igniter fires randomly by itself about once every 10 seconds it's been 2 weeks and is becoming annoying

Try unplugging and leavig it sit overnight nmot plugged in. sometimes grease or water from cleanig gets down into the electrodes and will contunie to spark untill the water/grease dries up. nothing to worry about safety wise, its more of a nusscience that anythin, if it doesn tstop ina day then we got a problem . but lets try that

Depends on the model. some models have the reignite system where it tries to reignite if the flame goes out. problem could be the burner ass. If not than the igniter switch needs replacing. Would replace them all.

The igniter spark for all gas rings remains on permanently without pressing down the gas flow knobs. I can see nothing prompted this - I just came into the kitchen one morning to hear the igniter clicking...

This could be a problem with your spark module. its an electronic box either behind or under the cooktop. it sends the spark to the spark tip, which then ignites he gas. So in my opinion i would say it is your spark module.

I have a G6A-7E electronic ignite water heater.

Make sure propane is on and getting to your stove burners ok, first, then try switching it back on. If it fails to ignite, shut switch off and try a couple of times, if still no ignition, get back to me.

Kitchenaid gas ccoktop electronic ignition continues to click

We called in an appliance repair technician. He said during the cleaning process of the cooktop, when the control knobs had been removed to thoroughly clean the cooktop, some cleaning fluid or water or moisture got into the ignition switch panel under the cooktop. Letting it dry for 24 hours should fix the problem and this appears to have done that.

Yes I believe that would fix the problem. It is under the hood mounted in the "power distribution box"

If this by slight chance doesn't work which I do think will work; Then you can try
The HEI system, used on 2.5L, 2.8L and 4.0L engines, is a pulse-triggered, transistorized controlled, inductive discharge ignition system. The entire HEI system (except for the ignition coil on fuel injected engines) is contained within the distributor cap.
The distributor, in addition to housing the mechanical and vacuum advance mechanisms, contains the electronic control module, and the magnetic triggering device. The magnetic pick-up assembly contains a permanent magnet, a pole piece with internal teeth, and a pick-up coil (not to be confused with the ignition coil).
In the HEI system, as in other electronic ignition systems, the breaker points have been replaced with an electronic switch-a transistor-which is located within the control module. This switching transistor performs the same function the points did in an conventional ignition system. It simply turns coil primary current on and off at the correct time. Essentially then, electronic and conventional ignition systems operate on the same principle.
The module which houses the switching transistor is controlled (turned on and off) by a magnetically generated impulse induced in the pick-up coil. When the teeth of the rotating timer align with the teeth of the pole piece, the induced voltage in the pick-up coil signals the electronic module to open the coil primary circuit. The primary current then decreases, and a high voltage is induced in the ignition coil secondary windings which is then directed through the rotor and high voltage leads (spark plug wires) to fire the spark plugs.
In essence then, the pick-up coil modu
