Alright well i am very good at taking things apart computer wise not so much TV wise lol .. I have taken this TV part .. now the Color Transistors are located on the Back of the CRT board thats connected at the very end of the Tube i guess ? how do you disconnect that just pull it away from that clip in the middle? It really dont matter if i break the TV i just like to see if i can fix it. Any Picture Guides or anything would help.

    Thanks

Alright after while i tired something instead .. i took the board off the back of the tube and i adjusted the dials on the colors .. and i dont have as much green anymore .. i have all the colors now .. except anything thats suppose to be like red is more orange or really dark colored instead. How do you go about fixing this part

Is this only happening from the tuner, or does it also happen from an external source being connected eg: DVD player?

If also from DVD.... what AV connection method is used... composite, component etc?

Based on your resonse to my questions, I'd agree with Geno69 that those are the likely suspects.

In picture number 2, I saw some blue also. So I'd guess that the red gun is not firing. This could be a transistor on the board on the back of the picture tube, or it could be a bad picture tube. I would replace all three transistors on the PC board, if the problem remains, it's probably the tube.

Hope that helps...

On that PC Board (Called a screen board), You need to get the number off of one of the transistors, it might look like "C####" or "2SC####" Example C1234 or 2SC1234. You need to find a place that sells that part and buy 3 of them. Then using a solder iron and solder, remove the old one (1 at a time) and solder in the new ones. Then the easiest way to adjust those controls is to get into the menu of the TV and turn the color all the way down. Then adjust those controls for the best black and white picture you can get. Then when you turn the color back up, it should be correct. This is all assuming the picture tube is good.

You might find the transistors at MCM Electronics.

    Hope that helped...

Hello
Just make the picture status button on the remote control and get the display setting to its factory mode.

The VIDEO STATUS button gives you a choice of three TV picture display settings, including a
display of your own preferences.
Standard - Resets the picture display to the factory settings.
Dynamic - Heightens contrast.
Theater - Gives a rich, film-like look to video. (AV-27D303, AV-27D203 and AV-20D303 only)
Sports - When you watch a sports program. (AV-27330, AV-27320 and AV-27S33 only)
Press the VIDEO STATUS button repetedly to get these choices.

Uneven brightness problem

This problems are on the video board, that connected to the CRT.The video IC inverter, all the capacitors around it.Some of the capacitors, that help to divert the colors are dead.Don't mess with the CRT Yoke, put it back to the original mark and tighteen it before,u misalign the three colors guns for good.

Problem with picture color

Magnetized The set is probably magnetized and needs degaussing (demagnetizing).
All CRT type TV's have an internal demagnetizing circuit that is engaged when the set is first turned on after being off for the day.
If this circuit is working then you sometimes hear a "bonk" sound (about 1/2 a second long when the set is first turned on. If this circuit isn't working the set will become magnetized over time and will have to be degaussed using a degauss coil available at a TV repair shop (cost aprox. $35.00) and you should have the circuit checked at the same time. A set will also become magnetized if a large speaker (magnet) or motor is close to the TV. Be sure to vote/rate me if this helped Thanks!

Toshiba 32a43 32' picture garbled mess

If you can get the tv to display the blue blackground(usually happens when there is no antenna or cable feed to tv) check to see if the whole screen is a solid blue, if it shows discolored areas around the screen then you might have to "demag" the screen. See if you can rent a demad coil from a tv shop and with tv on turn the coil in circular movements all over the front of screen till blue is solid.good luck!

"VIDEO 3" ON SCREEN

It is normal for VIDEO 3 to be displayed in the upper left of the picture if there is no signal present at the INPUT 3 jacks. This is to let you know that although the picture is black and there is no sound, the TV is still on. If you have a good signal at INPUT 3 and the VIDEO 3 stays on the screen, take the Sony remote, point it at the TV and press the DISPLAY button until you see "DISPLAY OFF" on the screen. About 3 seconds later, the words should vanish.

Are you using the video input? Do you get on screen display? If so you probably have the video (yellow) wire connected to one of the audio inputs.

Plasma TV color problem

Sometimes, poor picture quality occurs when having activated an A-VHS camera or camcorder connected and having connected another peripheral at the same time. In this case switch off one of the other peripherals. Also, The norcent has a known problem with progressive scan - when connected to a progressive scan source, it yields a distorted screen with dual images and messed up colors.
