Colors are not lining up on the screen - Sony KP-48S65 48" Rear Projection Television

I'm sorry to say, but alpug is not correct. The problem here is either poor connections at the convergence ICs or defective ICs. These are large black ICs attached to a heatsink. If you can solder, resolder the pins of these ICs and try again. If that fails, the ICs are likely to be defective. They will be marked STK-xxx. Replace them and make suer that you use heatsink compound when attaching the new ones to the heatsink. Also, there are either small pico fuses or low valued resistors that may be open in the same area.

You can adjust the convergeance purity using youir remote control there is a command in there..manually you can arrange the purity of colors and you must save after you adjust..or you open the front pannel of your tv you can see the convergeance module card..you can take it out of the circuit and take it to the service center to program tha EPROM program of the convergrance...the EPROM is a small ic found inside the convergeance board...and it is programable.
