Old tappan in counter gas stove/range

the stove will not ignite, I am getting no spark, I have gas cause I can light the stove with matches. Someone said their is a child proof system on these old stoves.

I have the same problem.

sorry, misinformation, no such child lock existed in those days, either your spark module is bad or your switches are bad, (unusual for all switches to fail simultaneously)
