the kind of cleaning this requires, should be left to a quilified repairman. The proper cleaining wires are not found in the handyman,s tool aisle for good reason.

try shutting off power and then turn on..If this doesnt work turn on self clean again ,start it then after a few seconds cancel. This should tell the lock to release.

Sounds like your cooker has a flame rectifier supervision system. What this means is, electricity is passed through the flame from the controller, back to the controller/pcb (fire conducts electricity). If the the pcb doesn't recieve a return signal, it thinks the burner has gone out and starts the ignition to try a light the burner again. As simple to fix as a rusty/dirty flame rod or, as complicated as a bad pcb. Get a pro to check it out.

Does it have electronic ignition (clicking sound when starting) if it doesnt and you have an older model you may need to re light the pilot? Also make sure your getting gas to the unit (you will hear a hissing sound when the burners are turned on) try using a match to light the burner

there is a control board just behind the clock. on that board is an omron g2rl-1a-e-cf, 9vdc, 16/250vac type relay. i replaced that relay with an equivalent wired in one and that fixed the problem.

it sounds like it burnt one of your main wires in the back of range. by turning a knob on you are getting a feed back. turn the power off remove back panel take a visual check of your wiring.
