Sounds to me like it just needs priming (or in other words) the air bled out of it.
Using the force of gravity, force water to run STRAIGHT DOWN from the 25 gal tank, through the gate valve & into the running pump.
While doing this, close the bypass valve slowly until it's about 3/4 of the way shut.
You should begin to hear the sound of the pump begin to deepen as the air escapes.
If you don't, then there may be an air leak somewhere along the hose line, typically at the filter, causing it not to prime.
Correct the air leak, then you'll probably have better luck.

I recommend not running an electric pump like a Flojet for very long when it's not primed. Doing this may overheat it & shorten its lifespan considerably.

I have a flojet pump model #2100-848 used on a 20 gallon sprayer...just hooked up the sprayer after sitting all year and the pressure went all the way up past 100psi and blew the fuse...any ideas?

Nozzles are plugged? Remove nozzles, clear lines, nozzles and screens.

If still a problem, rinse tank and fill with a few gallons of water. Find a convenient point to disconnect pump outlet side from all nozzles. Try pump, if same problem, keep opening connections closer to pump outlet until blockage is cleared.

My flojet 4305 drinking water pump on my boat does not pump as efficiently as in the past - how can I troubleshoot it?

when you close all cocks the pump must stop running after a short while, if not clean inside of pump (diaphragm and valves) and try again. If pump is continuously running try to pump 5 liter water of 70 deg. C if problem is still a continuously runnnig pump there is a electronical problem which can not be repaired or replaced in this modelrange

Insufficient Pressure From Pump

Take the strainer at the end of the hose on the tank off. Throughly clean it. I used an old tooth brush, then ran hot water through it several times. Also drained the tank and flushed it out 3-4 times with fresh water, then ran fresh water through the pump for several minutes

Hope this helps

I have a fimco pump on a 25 gallon sprayer. It is a 2.1 gallon per min. pump. I took it out yesterday to use and it would not pump up, no pressure. Worked fine last year. I checked and the motor is...

open up the pump, take out the check valve. wash in dish soap/hot water solution, scrub with old toothbrush, rinse off, reinstall & see if that makes a difference...

Fimco Sprayer , 25 gallon, 2.1 gpm, 12 Volts - Blowing fuses

Soiunds like you either have one of two things. Either the pump motor is bad or you have a wire that is shorted out. look for chaffed or bare wires or burnt spots on the sprayer and the machine towing it. one of the two is your issue. Hope this helps!
