I'm trying to install a PC-DVD Game to my LG CD-ROM CRD-8521B, It plays CD's but wont play DVD's of any sort. Really need help...

The CD rom is limited to CD's. In order to read a DVD, you will need to install a DVD rom. My suggestion is to get an external DVD Burner - i just bought a Samsung slim external DVD burner that reads / writes CD's and DVD's.
You will have no luck ever reading a dvd in a cd rom.

Does it play cd and dvds
You can only play CDs of all kinds (CD +/- R, cdrw, etc.) but you will not be able to play any DVDs. It will not detect any DVD disc.

Perhaps some of the disks are DVD? and NOT CD? check that out. in saying that tho, CD, DVD, are swines of things and some are real picky about what they play. I would suggest ya install a new CD/DVD Reader/Writer and this WILL fix all ya problems.

CAN NOT PRINT LIGHTSCRIBE LABLE
Your problem is posted under the LG CRD 8521B CD-ROM drive category. That model of CD drive isn't a LightScribe drive, so it can't print LightScribe labels.

My computer cannot recognize the lg crd 8521b
double check the jumpers ont he back on the drive if you have got 2 that are set as promary on on ide lead this will cause a issue, or if the bios is an old bios you will need to go into it and tell it you have got a new drive. Also what OS are you using?

change ur data cable & power cable & try to ditecing
if not show then do one ting go in a device manager >system devices>pci bus>right click on it & uninstall then ur pc is restarts
& insatll ur all divce drivers correctly

go http://www.cdrom-drivers.com/drivers/77/77204.htm (thats driverguide: name temp; pass 512)
but that CD reader does not need drivers if you use windows98 Me 2000 XP 2003 or Vista... if its not working and your computer is ok you surely have connected something the wrong way.
