I'll have to look this up to be 100% sure, but I believe that this message occurs when the unit can not complete its startup sequence. Usually this is because the CD unit is stuck. If that is the case, the mechanism may need an upgrade. There was an engineering change to these mechanisms to prevent it from getting out of timing. Try unplugging this for a couple of hours and trying again. Update this with your results. In the meantime, I'll look up your specific model to see if it requires the modification.
