Generic problem for all In Dash Receivers
Entering security code in radio of e320 mer...
I recently had battery problem and my mechanic did not save security code. I out of curiosity just punched 5 numbers and got a code that says wait. It had previously flashed code. I have since acquired correct code however, cannot over ride "wait" entry on screen. Can you please help?

- Your solution seemed illogical but did work. I had to see the service manager at the local dealership for another problem. He too gave me the same solution. I then came home and use the solution provide by you and the dealer ship. Results to get back to the system asking for code took less than 5 minutes. However, after entering the code provided by Mercedes the first number of the code began flashing and I proceeded to enter the solution recommended by FIXYA with no results. But I will rate the overall professionalism provided to me as NUMBER ONE. Thank You.

you must leave the key in the ignition switch for 1-2 hours in the on position with the radio on to reset. then you can reenter the correct code- if you tried to enter the wrong code 3 times the radio's antitheft system will have engaged and the only to reset it would be to go to a mercedes dealer to have them use their computer to reset the radio- there are no other options

disconnect battery then wait a minute then input code

I JUST CHANGED MY MAS AIR FLOW SENSOR AND I unploged the battery i have a 2000 e320 but it said code then i punch it is i found the code in the side pasanger front window but its been like what now 1 hrs and it went back to the code can anyone tell me how to make it work so i wont have to worry about this thanks

I need a pin out diagram for a 1999 Delco indash radio model # 09377120. I pretty much have the speakers figured out but need to know the heavy red,yellow and orange/wt. stripe. I can get the radio working but need to know specificly what the heavy wires are for. This radio is in a motorcycle and was wired incorrectly to begin with.
