Question about Edirol UA-4FX External Sound System

Need soundcard driver

We recently took windows vista off our laptop and installed XP, and there is no sound... I dont know what sound card is in it to look for a driver...Can anyone help???

    Its a MDG Visionbook MS-103428....It worked fine but then when we changed it to XP none of the drivers would work, and I dont know what sound card is in it to get the driver for it....

I think your laptop is recommended for windows xp sp2 ...
so if you install the sp2 then the sound may work ....
if you have motherboard cd then get it installed
tell me your laptop model otherwise exactly i will get you the links to drivers to download...........

Changed from vista to x psp3 then i had a black screen problem so I reloaded windows xp professional and now i have no sound my laptop is toshiba sattelite P105-S9337.


you will need to download the device drivers as it seems xp does not have them available apon installation first find out what kind of sound card you have or if its on-board than search either the soundcard name or motherboard name followed by sound driver and it should be no problem to download and install

Hp compaq dx2400 windows xp sp2 sound driver the ones i have are for win vista just down graded the machine

Soundcard not working after having upgrades from Window XP to Windows Vista


You need to update or reinstall the driver for the sound card.Your computer manufacturer support and drivers will have your driver for the sound card if its OEM with your computer. Just enter your computer modal number And operating system find the right driver and install as instructed. If you have a problem let me know make and modal of computer and sound card if not OEM. and I will try to find the driver. Please rate me mysleuth

M-audio soundcard 410, problems with vista


I had a similar problem, until I turned off my WiFi. I din't want to believe it would be the problem but it sure was, sucks that I cant be online while i'm trying to record something.

hello. try to find original and alternate drivers. also check numbers (all serial and other) on soundcard, then search for them on internet. google em youll find them. sometimes if vista drivers dont exist try drivers for xp.  by

Soundcard problem


first you need to know what model of your sound card then try to search it on webpage sample: "download sound card driver 'your sound card model' " or if you are using Windows Vista heres the Step:
1. Right click My Computer
2. Go to Device Manager or click it on the left pane
3. Then look for Sound, Video and Game Controllers
4. Right click then Click UPDATE Driver
5. Then Choose what your desire you can try it all then it will uide you how to update driver
6. when it done restart your computer
or
If your SoundCard is build in install the driver of your mother board if your sound card is not build in install the driver of your sound card or you can run windows live update but you must be online hope i can help with your problem : p
