I have a GLTF2940ESO with the same problem, only with a code E-47 which is a door lock switch? My local appliance dealer tells me that if the switch was faulty it wouldn't do any thing. They advised me the motor control was bad,$170.00 later. I still have the same thing, washes normal, forward and reverse tumble while it pumps out,it never speeds up to high spin.

The part # on the back of the machine says 3953191

Can you assist me in trouble shooting this problem?

This is for a Whirlpool washer and dryer thin stack. All four of the wash cycles work AND all four of the spin cycles work, but the rinse cycles do not work. I have to manually skip it forward past the...

I would suspect the water inlet valve as being the problem,if it drains the water and spins the lid switch is going to be good. The thing exclusive to rinse cycles is that they only fill with cold water, and that is what i suspect the problem being is that it's not filling with cold water on the rinse cycle because of a bad water inlet valve.

Kenmore washing machine didn't spin @ end of cycle

If you tried a different cycle and it worked this means that the timer is probably bad on the main cycle that you use. If the machine does not spin on all cycles, then please check out the LID SWITCH.
