- I have a whirlpool 5 cycle heavy duty super capacity washing machine tat will not forward to the spin cycle unless I manually turn the dial to spin.

The part # on the back of the machine says 3953191
stolle.

Can you assist me in trouble shooting this problem?

- I have a GLTF2940ESO with the same problem, only with a code E-47 which is a door lock switch? My local appliance dealer tells me that if the switch was faulty it wouldn't do any thing.They advised me the motor control was bad,$170.00 later. I still have the same thing, washes normal, forward and reverse tumble while it pumps out,it never speeds up to high spin.- mzaustin

- macine will go throughall the cycles then when it is time for it to spin it will jst stop at 7 min left. I have replaced the control board and with no change. Any help would e muchappreciated- waynster
