Hey Wisper, I had a very similar problem with my Haier. Read all about it here: http://www.fixya.com/support/t180574-freezer_10_deg_fridge_50 I replaced the thermostat ($35 or so, mail ordered) but that didn't do very much. Then I replaced the Evaporator fan ($40 for an OEM part, read the details on my other page) and that did the trick. Feel free to email me if you want more details of what the job involved. your freezer cabinet need to get all out also the ice machine(if you got one),and open the back wall
there is a drain hole in the bottom middle of it make sure it is clean, and if you pure water they go all the way
through the pip to the drain pan next to the compressor.

Hi!!
Turn unit OFF unit and DISCONNECT POWER CORD from wall outlet. If equipped, remove the Ice Maker Unit by loosening the fastening screws and disconnect the electrical connector.
To remove the the full-width freezer shelf do the following:

• Grasp the freezer shelf firmly and slide to the left as far as possible.
• Lift up on the right side until the shelf is free of the brackets on the right side wall of the freezer.
• To replace the freezer shelf insert the shelf into the left side brackets as far as possible.
• Slide the right side of the shelf into the brackets located on the right side wall.
