Question about Panasonic DMR-EZ47V DVD Recorder/VCR
The procedure is dependent upon how you are connected and exactly what you're recording from. If you have a cable box or satellite receiver connected, the procedure is different than if you have direct cable or antenna signal.
If you have direct cable into the recorders, simply do the following:
-Tune the television to the channel or input that gets signal from the recorder.
-Tune the recorder to the channel you would like to record.
-Inser the disc to be recorded to and make sure the DVD drive is selected - the "drive select" button on the remote or unit will do this.
-Begin recording at the desired time by pressing record (bottom-left button on remote).
If you are connected w/ satellite or cable box, the procedure is quite similar except you also have to tune the recorder to the channel or input that gets signal from that device. For example, if a cable box or satellite receiver were connected via red white and yellow cables to input 1 on the back of the recorder, you would simply press "input select" (generally to the right of or below the number 9 button on the remote) until the display on it says IN1.
If you would like to download the manual directly from Panasonic's site, it's available here:
