Sound problems I recently reinstalled my system and unfortunately there was no sound. It said that I need to install audio mixers. I cant also adjust the volume coz its like blurred... But I dont think the problem is with sound card or whatever you call it because my pc can stil produce sounds like the start up and error messages' sounds...I cant hear sound other than those

U have to install your motherboard drivers after installation of a fresh copy of windows .
there should be a cd of drivers which comes with system..
put that cd in cd rom and it will autoplay. then install all the drivers one by one

I cant get sound on my coputer, i have to watch an audio but i cant hear what they are saying i even brout some earstrerophone but there is still no sound.i have no sound on anythind like music or games ....

if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it
you might have to uninstall then reinstall both the sound drivers and the sound card make sure you have both of these devices backed up to a disc before uninstalling
a yellow? question mark means you need to install/update driver to do this
right click to install driver also
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound, video and game controllers you might see a yellow question mark? Right click to reinstall drivers
click start control panel sounds and audio, volume, advanced, speakers select appropriate speakers also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have made the correct adjustments there

click start control panel sounds and audio devices you can adjust the volume there also select speaker volume you can make adjustments there you can also tick in the box place icon in taskbar
hope this helps

I recently reinstalled my windows xp and now have no speaker sound and cant find how to reinstall them

you need to install the audio driver. First you need to know what Audio card you are using or motherboard that you are using (if it is build in Audio system on motherboard) then you need to get the driver. You may be able to get the driver from here (just click here).
Or let me know your PC model and I'll help you.

Audio problems/ Teredo Tunneling Interface

Hello....
No Sound, No Volume Control, Mixer not Found, No Sound device installed…etc etc, This is a generic issue with all Windows OS updates....many of the users are facing this issue....this issue began after an auto update from MS changed many IRQs of Win OS, mainly the Sound and Audio Control system of Windows.
1 - R U facing NO Audio / No Sound issue...?
2 - Is ur Volume Control not responding ?
3 - Is ur Sound and Audio Device in Control Panel Grayed out ?
4 - Do u get a msg "No Active Mixer Devices Installed....when u try to open Volume Ctrl etc etc ?

If ur ans to any one of them is Yes...then u are being spammed by Microsoft....as ur Sound Control IRQ is being frozen by a recent update from Microsoft....

NOTE..THIS…IS…VERY..IMPORTANT...
No file update or any sound driver update can fix it, neither Microsoft is issuing any patch to fix it…or giving any help on this.
Full solution is available in my website (Support page)...it's quite simple process to fix it, and I am not charging any money, just trying to do some service and help everyone affected by this stupidity from Microsoft.

visit my support page.

all the best...

Can not hear any sound in speaker keeps saying there is no mixer device

Sounds like you need an audio driver if there's indeed a sound card or on-board audio device present. Will need the make and model of your PC to help locating a driver. Also, have you checked your "Device Manager", does it have any devices with a yellow exclamation mark?
