Recorder tray will not open

The loading deck is either out of alignment or a piece of it is broken. They can be difficult to align if you are not familiar with the operation of the the deck or have the service lit. with the alignment proceedure. Good luck. Almost forgot, I see alot of units that have been moved with a disk in them and the disk will slide out of its holder and become lodged, locking up the mech, if this is the case carefully remove the disk and try the mech again.
