Question about Frigidaire FRS26ZSG
It is not cooling. The coils at the bottom freeze up, have tried defrosting them with a hairdryer. I have tried moving the switches, they click the thermosat on. But within a few minutes the coils again freeze up.
I ASSUME YOUR TALKING ABOUT THE COILS BEHIND THE BACK OF THE FREEZER ..IF SO YOUR UNIT IS NOT GOING THROUGH THE DEFROST CYCLE BECAUSE OF A BAD HEATER OR BAD DEFROST TIMER OR BAD DEFROST T STAT .YOU CAN FORCE IT INTO DEFROST BY PUSHING THE FRESH FOOD DOOR SWITCH THREE TIMES IN 15 SECONDS IF YOU HAVE AN ADAPTIVE DEFROST TYPE OF DF CONTROL(ELECTRONIC TYPE).
