Re: it doesnt print
Delete your printer from your computer and reinstall it.
This will reset it. Make sure you have your cd with software and drivers handy or that you can download drivers from your printer company site under support of you device first.
You shouldn't need the drivers but just incase.
After you delete your printer out reboot your computer and reistall your printer. If running windows 2000,xp or Vista it should reistall it when you reboot.

for normal scanning you can go to control panel and choose the option of scanner and camera wizard and do the scanning but it is good if you install the driver of printer which is contain the scanner software and give you more option of scanning.
have a nice day and dont forget to give rate please...
you will have to re install the driver but first delete the original out of your PC by going to add and remove and look for the printer and remove it .
Once fully removed , restart your PC and re install the cd that came with the printer .
this should fix your problem .
I fixed my error code 1-2036 by going to the "Configure Settings" in
the AiO Home Center then selected AiO Printer changed to "Print
Quality" to Draft and clicked OK.... Then I was able to Scan with no
errors. I think the config settings were corrupted some how and this
resaved them properly.
if that doesnt help
Go to Control Panel Double Click on Printers and Other Hardware Double Click on Scanners and Cameras Double Click on Kodak 5100 AiO Click Next Read and follow directions
if both the solutions doesnt help... its time to call kodak
Check your documents folder under My Scans. I found that my scans were going in there. I had to open them to put them where I wanted them.
I also have the problem of the missing line up upload to my computer. If I restart the computer with the 6280 on the line reappears and I can scan what I want. I have asked HP what the problem is with no real solution. They seemed to think that since it works after restarting the computer that the problem was solved. The option shouldn't disappear from the screen at any time, but I guess I'm stuck with restarting the computer every time the problem comes up. Hope this helps.
if you have successfully scan your pictures you just need to look for my scans folder under documents and checl if you have your uploaded photos ther but if you cannot still find it... and got the error message..give me the error message.
The LSU is the Laser Scanning Unit or "printhead". There is a mirror in there that spins really fast, if the mirror spins too slowly (bad motor, low voltage) it gives an error. Sounds like you would need a replacement LSU. Have the printer serviced.
