Question about Televison & Video

1 Answer

There seems to be an incompatibility between the JVC TV and our Playstation 2 console. We can only get pictures in black and white on the PS2. Any ideas?

Do you push the TV/Video button on the Remote? If you are trying to view the playstaion you need to use your tv in another mode. TV/Video. It should be in the instructions for the Playstation.

You need to check the inputs on your TV. You might have the PS2 connect to the GREEN Component IN on your TV. Try changing it to to YELLOW connector and selecting VIDEO on the TV.

No color for ps 2 hooked to jvc tv

If you are using the A/V cables (the red, white, and yellow ones), you might have a short in the video portion of the cable. Try unplugging and plugging in again or wiggling the wires around a bit. Otherwise, I would suggest finding another cable.
