You could re-install the bluetooth driver..
Contact HP for the driver..
Or in the HP wireless Assitant.
You need to click on properties then you need to check all the options available and click on apply..
Then you will see the buttons to turn on/offf the bluetooth and the wireless in HP wireless Assistant main menu..
:)
Most likely you have a bad driver. Try connecting your machine directly to the wired network. Go to your manufacturer and download the latest drivers.
If your machine does not have a hardwired port, you can bring the drivers with a flash from another machine.
Also, you might try booting in safe mode. After booting, press F8 until you get asked for what you want to do. Try booting in safe mode with networking. If you are able to boot here, you know that the wireless card itself is ok. So, get the latest drivers.
look at the manufacturer site for drivers..you may make the search : ....your laptop model and series -driver ..or post here the complete name and model of your laptop...and Ill look for your drivers...
Depending on how old the batteries are they may be shot. Lithium ion laptop batteries only last about 3 years no matter how many times they have been charged and discharged.
If the batteries are fairly new you may have a problem with your charger/adapter.
If you decide to replace the battery do a search for "replacement laptop battery" on Google. You will get dozens of sites that sell replacements. They usually offer a tool where you type in the make and model of your laptop and they will tell you the replacement you need. Very simple. Be aware that a replacement will usually cost from $100 to $200.
Depending on how old your laptop is it might be more cost effective to buy a new laptop for when you need portability. I see pretty decent laptops online for $500 all the time. You can always keep your old one as a second computer for a child, or sell it on eBay for cheap.
