Hope this helps, in the workshop manual it says to leave the radio on, this could take up to 60 mins, then the code marks will appear again and you can start all over. Does anybody know the code for the 22RC200/65 - TOK815 as I have tried codes many times and cant find the right one. Regards. Steve. ( this does work it takes about 40 mins on my radio! :)

I have a ford cd 6000 car cd player and have tried to put code in several times not accepting it though do i need to reset the cd player and if so how do i do this

You can remove the POWER from the set for few hours so as to reset a HANG condition if the wrong codes were entered. Also make sure that the battery was removed or else the standby circuit will be ON.
If the codes do not reset, make sure that the codes are correct. If so the processor has hung up and must be checked with the Authorised service.

Hi I've got a renault espace with single cd player

Hi,

I have come across this problem before.

For the player to reset after the code has been incorrectly entered several times, the screen should display code.

So to reset this put the keys in the ignition and turn the ignition on so the red lights are on in the dash, no need to start the car.

Do this in your driveway or garage at home where it is secure,
because the ignition needs to remain on for about an hour for it to reset so it says code again on the screen .
once that happens you can enter the code.

I hope this helps you.
If so please leave a vote or comment.

Have a Great Day

Replace 2006 pontiac g6 radio with one from a salvage yard. How do I unlock it?

try this, many say it works

1. Press and hold presets 2 and 3 for about 5 to 10 seconds until you
get 3 digits on your display. This is the first 3 of 6 digits you will
need, so write 'em down.

2. After doing step one and writing down the code, immediately press
the
AM/FM button to get the last 3 of the 6 numbers you'll need, and write
'em down. (if you wait too long between steps 1 and 2 and the LOC code
displays again, just start over).

3. Call this number, it's a prerecorded message, so don't worry about
having to talk to anyone...1-800-537-5140. The voice will ask if
you're
calling for Chevy, Pontiac, Cadillac, etc... When you here him tell
you
to press "2" for Pontiac, press 202107 and hit the # key. He'll ask
you
for the 6 digit code that you've written down. Enter that and press
the
* key. He will then give you a code, and the option to get additional
4
digit codes, but one should be sufficient.

4. Follow the normal procedure in your owners manual for unlocking the
radio with your new code...press the hour set button on your radio
until
you get the first two numbers of the code, then press the minute set
button until you've entered the last two numbers. Immediately press
the
AM/FM button once the correct code is entered and the code SEC or
"secured" will be displayed on the display screen. Now, just turn the
radio on, and your ready to roll.

There is an additional step you can take to remove all codes from the
radio and start from scratch by entering your own personalized 4 digit
code so that it won't get you in a pickle again! Just repeat step 4
and
you should get a display screen that reads ---. This means the code is
out, and you can now program your own code. Of course, once you
receive
the 4 digit code from the GM recorded message, just keep it in a safe
place, because you can use that same code again and again should you
have any more problems with it in the future. Good luck, and yes, it
does work.

Car radio locked after inputting 2 wrong codes

try disconnect stereo totally, then reconnect and put in right code, dealers usually store this information if it was put in by a dealer, and sometimes the code is on the bottom/back of the stereo.

Leave it SWITCHED ON....UNDISTURBED for as long as it takes to automatically reset itself.

I have a PU-9667A Clarion radio in my Citroen Xantia and trying to put in my code as 6637. Problem is there is no 7 on the panel so I tried pressing no 4 7 times. Whatever number you punch in, it locks...

Are you sure that you have the correct code as the normal codes for the CLARION PU-9667 are between 1111 - 6666  ( ie a digit  no higher than 6 ) and are entered directly using the Preset 1 - 6 buttons ?.

I think that what has happened is the wrong code has been entered several times and your radio is now semi -locked

If you want the code checking , then unfortunately it requires specialist advice as it is not calculated from the Serial Number.

The only place I know that will  provide the necessary advice and calculate your code  for free is here (Mention this forum )

www.ukbookshelf.co.uk

Otherwise it will have to be taken to a Radio Decoding service

Locked 13

LOCK13 means that there have been at least 13 wrong codes attempted to be entered.
There is no D-I-Y method to reset it.
Unfortunately , to unlock it , the unit will have to be taken into a Decoding Specialist who will unlock it using specialist equipment.

Inote: If the display had shown LOCK10 (ie..just 10 wrong codes) then there IS amethod to reset it.

IDC A09 installed in Fiat Punto

After incorrectly entering the code 3 times, the unit locks for 60 minutes. To clear it, leave it connected to the head unit and the radio switched on for an hour. After that, switch the radio off, disconnect and reconnect the cd changer, and enter the correct code.

When battery power is removed and later applied to a
secured radio, the radio won’t turn on and LOC will
appear on the display.

Unlocking the Theft-Deterrent Feature After a
Power Loss
Enter your secret code as follows; pause no more than
15 seconds between steps:
1. Turn the ignition on. LOC will appear on the display.
2. Press MN and 000 will appear on the display.
3. Press MN again to make the last two digits agree
with your code.
4. Press HR to make the first one or two digits agree
with your code.
5. Press AM-FM after you have confirmed that the
code matches the secret code you have written down.
The display will show SEC, indicating the radio is
now operable and secure.
If you enter the wrong code eight times, INOP will
appear on the display. You will have to wait an hour with
the ignition on before you can try again. When you try
again, you will only have three chances to enter the
correct code before INOP appears.
If you lose or forget your code, contact your dealer.
Disabling the Theft-Deterrent Feature
Enter your secret code as follows; pause no more than
15 seconds between steps:
1. Turn the ignition to ACCESSORY or RUN.
2. Turn the radio off.
3. Press the 1 and 4 buttons together. Hold them down
until SEC shows on the display.
4. Press MN and 000 will appear on the display.
5. Press MN again to make the last two digits agree
with your code.
6. Press HR to make the first one or two digits agree
with your code.
7. Press AM-FM after you have confirmed that the
code matches the secret code you have written down.
The display will show ---, indicating that the radio
is no longer secured.
If the code entered is incorrect, SEC will appear on the
display. The radio will remain secured until the correct
code is entered.
Theft-Deterrent Feature (If Equipped)
THEFTLOCK is designed to discourage theft of your
radio. It works by using a secret code to disable all radio
functions whenever battery power is removed.
The THEFTLOCK feature for the radio may be used or
ignored. If ignored, the system plays normally and the
radio is not protected by the feature. If THEFTLOCK is
activated, your radio will not operate if stolen.
When THEFTLOCK is activated, the radio will display
LOC to indicate a locked condition anytime battery
power has been interrupted. If your battery loses power
for any reason, you must unlock the radio with the secret
code before it will operate.
Activating the Theft-Deterrent Feature
The instructions which follow explain how to enter
your secret code to activate the THEFTLOCK system.
It is recommended that you read through all nine steps
before starting the procedure.
If you allow more than 15 seconds to elapse between
any steps, the radio automatically reverts to time and
you must start the procedure over at Step 4.
1. Write down any three or four-digit number from
000 to 1999 and keep it in a safe place separate
from the vehicle.
2. Turn the ignition to ACCESSORY or RUN.
3. Turn the radio off.
4. Press the 1 and 4 buttons together. Hold them down
until --- shows on the display. Next you will use the
secret code number which you have written down.
5. Press MN and 000 will appear on the display.
6. Press MN again to make the last two digits agree
with your code.
7. Press HR to make the first one or two digits agree
with your code.
8. Press AM-FM after you have confirmed that the
code matches the secret code you have written down.
The display will show REP to let you know that you
need to repeat Steps 5 through 7 to confirm your
secret code.
9. Press AM-FM and this time the display will show
SEC to let you know that your radio is secure.
The LED indicator by the volume control will begin
flashing when the ignition is turned off.
